Frequently Asked Questions for Participating Vendors

  • How do I apply to become a vendor at the festival?

    You can apply to become a vendor by contacting one of our Marketing Managers:
    Mario (647-632-7785) and Chanelle (647-710-8113) or email to funphiltoronto@gmail.com.
    Due to limited space, we recommend applying early. It will be on a first-come first-served and payment is due upon signing of contract.

  • What types of products are allowed to be sold at the festival?

    We welcome a variety of vendors selling food, beverages, arts and crafts as well as companies/organizations promoting their services.

     

    Please note the for-Food Vendors:

     

    • • Charcoal and Propane for barbeques are allowed.
    • • You must bring your own floor covers around barbecues to protect from oil spillage.
    • • Gas-powered (silent) generators are permitted.

  • Can Vendors bring their own tent?

    Yes. Vendors shall use the standard 10ft x 10ft tents only and must submit a photo of their tent for approval by PLACA.

  • Are food vendors required to have health permits?

    It is mandatory for food vendors to have the necessary health permits and licenses required by local health authorities. You will be asked to provide this documentation as part of the application process.

  • What are the setup and teardown times for vendors?

    Vendors will be provided detailed instructions after signing of Vendor Contract. Tents will be closed nightly, and all banners must be stored inside the tents.

  • Are there restrictions on booth decorations or signage?

    While we encourage creative booth decorations and signage, we ask that vendors refrain from using materials that could be harmful to the environment or that obstruct walkways. Stand up banners are allowed.

  • Is parking available for vendors?

    Parking is available for vendors on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • What happens in case of inclement weather?

    The festival will take place rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather conditions, the festival organizers may adjust the daily schedule.

  • Are there opportunities for promotional activities or sponsorships?

    Yes. There are opportunities for vendors to participate in promotional activities or sponsorships.

  • Will there be a lot of Food Vendors at this event?

    No. There are limited Food Vendors invited due to space capacity. Woodside Square Mall attracts heavy traffic of community consumers and visitors throughout the year especially the summer months.

  • Other items available for Vendors

    LED 24” x 34” poster signs for Vendors are available for sale or rent. Please contact Marketing Managers for more information.
